What a mess! This is the only way I can describe our healthcare system.

So how did we get here?  Let’s start at the top, the decision-makers in Washington DC, the politicians.

Most politicians that sit in Washington DC are attorneys by profession. The people vote them in, so during the campaign they in essence come and seek your approval and hopefully your vote.  Their demeanor is humble and they’re full of promises. But once they’re in some form of metamorphosis goes on and they now become our dictators rarely seeking the voter’s opinion.  After all aren’t we the people their employers? They work for us. The checks they receive are from taxpayer dollars.  So why aren’t we consulted in regards to such an important subject matter as healthcare.

It affects us all–the young and the old.  And if we don’t have our health what else do we have in life? Our health affects everything!  Oh I’m sure I can hear the response; it would just be too laborious to try and get the people’s opinion and after all you did vote me in to represent you.  That’s the first fatal mistake!

For over 25 years, Dr. Nordella has served patients in the Santa Clarita and the San Fernando Valley and has a long history of confronting the Anthem Blue Cross’ business practices which focus on profit instead of facilitating access to quality healthcare and treatment for patients. After a 10-year litigation history with Anthem, Dr. Nordella was successful in receiving a favorable judgment--something the LA Times stated had not been done by a solo practitioner in over 25 years. He is currently the Medical Director at Porter Ranch Quality Care in Porter Ranch, California.
